-Describe the message or main points of the song. You may quote some of the lyrics here.
-Explain why this song speaks to who you are and what you believe in.
-If you were to change any section of the song or re-choreographed the actual video for the song, what changes would you make and why? Be very specific.

Comparison of the songs "Isn't She Lovely" and "Glory."

POST #1: Comparison of the songs "Isn't She Lovely" and

                  "Glory."

Consider the two songs: Stevie Wonder's song, "Isn't She Lovely" and Jay-Z'S "Glory". You may find both on Youtube for your review of the lyrics.  These two songs are dedications that the artists made to their daughters (Aisha and Blue Ivy, respectively). Using the lyrics of these songs as a springboard for your discussion, write an extended paragraph of approximately 8-10 sentences in which you discuss how effective each artist is in bringing out the controlling ideas. In your opinion, which artist does this better? In your response, use key sections of each song to develop your opinion on who is the BETTER artist in developing this controlling ideas.

You are responsible for your initial posting. Then, as part of your grade, you must respond to the postings of two other classmates.

REMEMBER TO INCLUDE YOUR FIRST NAME AND BEGINNING LETTER OF YOUR LAST NAME ON YOUR POSTINGS. FAILURE TO DO THIS WILL RESULT IN A ZERO (0) FOR YOUR POSTING. REMEMBER, THIS IS YOUR 3RD GRADE FOR THE CLASS.
